Jose Miguel Sokoloff
Jose Miguel Sokoloff was appointed to the newly created role of President of Lowe and Partners Global Creative Council in 2011.
Sokoloff started his career at Leo Burnett Colombia in 1986, fresh out of business school, and became Creative VP after 4 years. During 4 of the 6 years he held the job, the agency became the most awarded Colombian agency both nationally and internationally. In 1996, he decided to start his own agency with Francisco Samper and Humberto Polar.
Lowe/SSP3 has become not only the second-largest agency in Colombia, it has also gained recognition as the most consistently creative agency in the market over the 15 years it has existed. It has been the most-awarded agency locally 9 times, winning a Grand Prix every year without exception. Lowe/SSP3 was the first Colombian agency to have a spot among the top 20 agencies in Latin America, according to the Latin Spot's ranking "Crema," and the first to have some of its work become part of the Gunn Report's most awarded list in the world.
Jose has been a juror in all major local awards, like Condor and Nova, and internationally at Cannes, San Sebastián, Fiap, Clio, New York Festivals, el Ojo de Iberoamérica, Caribe, Wave etc. His work has been recognized internationally by publications such as Advertising Age, The Independent, USA Today, Best Ads on TV, Latin Spots, Adlatina, and other prestigious publications.
