Gemma Craven

Gemma leads the New York 360° Digital Influence team, part of Ogilvy's WOM network, the largest global network of social media marketing and communications experts. She is responsible for client service, new business development and strategy and planning for key Ogilvy clients including IBM, IKEA and Unilever. Her role also comprises staff management and professional development.

Her experience in advertising and leading clients on the development of community, conversation and reaching key influences comes from 12 years working with brands and companies across the technology, retail, financial, media and advertising sectors from the BBC, News Corp., Microsoft, IBM and GNC. Prior to Ogilvy, she was global communications lead for IBM's joint venture with Ricoh, InfoPrint, and Broadcom, the chip company powering many of the innovations currently coming to market in today's smartphones.

Prior to her move to the US, Gemma was Head of Technology and Digital Media at Midnight, a UK-based digital boutique where she developed integrated programs for AOL's, Fujifilm, wireless network provider iBahn, Greenlight SEO and pioneering social network LunarStorm.

A French speaker, Gemma also specializes in planning and executing global campaigns, having spent time living and working in France, working with Microsoft and Hackett Group, a Paris-based consulting firm.

She is a graduate of University of Sussex in the UK and Universite d'Aix Marseille in France where she studied French and European Studies and French for Business.
