Frank Pedersen is CEO of LBi in the US, managing the independent global marketing and technology agency that blends insight, media, creativity and technical expertise to create business value. He leads strategic growth for the agency in the US and directs the expanding range of digital services LBi offers to companies dreaming of digital transformation.
Pedersen joined LBi IconNicholson in New York in 2009 as US Chief Operating Officer. He helped lead the company's integration with Special Ops Media to form LBi US in March 2010, and became the agency's Chief Executive Officer in September 2010.
Pedersen has held executive, business development and strategy positions on the client and agency sides, and his work has received numerous accolades. He previously served as Client Partner at AKQA London, leading the company's retail portfolio as well as accounts including BSkyB, HSBC, De Beers, Intercontinental Hotels and Orange Sainsbury's. Pedersen started his career on the client side, and then switched to the agency world, joining Framfab (now LBi) as his first agency gig.
Originally from Denmark, Frank has a graduate degree in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management in the UK, where he is also a guest lecturer. A sports enthusiast, Frank completed the Copenhagen marathon and has run numerous half-marathons. He captained the Cranfield MBA football team during the 2005 MBA World Cup at Dartmouth University.
